A week later I only have one sprout each out of two containers of my original broccoli planting of four so I dug out the starting mix of the two containers that had nothing, replaced it with a different type of mix, and replanted with more broccoli seeds. I also started two more pots of broccoli and eight with a plethera of green onion seeds. More waiting, again.

First Planting of 2010
I started my first plants of the year today, broccoli! We’ll see if they start or if I will need to do something different. I planted about a dozen seeds in four containers, put on the lid, and set them on top of the fridge (warmest place in the house when the furnace drops down during the day). Now we play the waiting game…
