What’s next?

I have 11 or 12 empty squares where the lettuce, broccoli, and spinach was planted, any suggestions? I think I am going to re-plant broccoli in the same spots for the fall (probably the peas too once they are done), but that still leaves 4 or 5 empty spaces.

I think my fall crops were in by the fourth of July a bit north of you, so you should do well with the broccoli and then lettuce. Don't forget your winter carrots, which you will be able to cover with some straw and dig into the winter if you plant now. Turnips, as well, possibly . . .

I just found a beautiful amrior at Goodwill for a mere 24.95! I was amazed. It needs a little TLC from my handy hubby, and then I will be giving it a beautiful chalk paint treatment. I can’t wait. Thank you for the recipe. I’m new to your site and definitely appreciate your wisdom after your trial and errors. Thank you!

Cool pics and blog! thanks for sinrhag. I didn’t have a good yield last year with my broccoli but this year I already got 6 large heads and five of the plants are producing smaller side heads. I hope your flavor is just as good. Fertilizer certainly helps I know. I have only been gardening about a year so I continue to learn every day!good luck!!Melanie

I see that the question has been asked beofre but I can’t find the answer. I am just wondering what type of wax you used and if it was available at HD. This turned out so lovely and I can’t wait to start my own project!
