I began construction on the raised beds after I finished the compost bin. I was able to get all the boards cut and assembled, and added a groove where the shock cord will rest to hold the deer net tight against the base.

Good idea adding the groove … I added eye hooks and a clothes line to secure the deer net … works okay and easy to “open” to tend and harvest. Will you be using any trellis for growing vine plants?
The squares along the north side (the left side of the pictures) will all have trellis netting for the tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, and peas. I will be making a frame out of conduit that will hold the deer netting up as well as holding the trellis netting in place.
